If heaven is more than the place we go when we die and more than where God is now what does that mean - where or what is heaven?

I've been flat hunting the last couple of weeks and had no joy - they are too expensive, too small, too manky or too characterless - I might just have to stay at home that little bit longer and save up some money and wait for that perfectly reasonable, oozing with character in just the right spot.....wait am I talking about a man or a flat?....... little abode.

what makes the world go round?.....

ooooh so we did money again last night but this time in relation to the poor as opposed to tithing. It's a bit scary...next week we're bringing in our bank statements so that we can be accountable with each other....I''m going to have to deal with the fact that although I feel people are going to judge me they aren't really and it's for my own good. I'm also starting to think that it might be a huge relief to stop being embarrassed about my appalling money management and get it out in the open.

We discussed being more aware of the poor in this world would make us respond more ie if there was a famine or disaster on our doorstep then surly as christians we would respond?!

We also discussed being more frugal with the moeny we do have in order to be able to give more away

We also think it might be a good idea to start responding to the needs we do see around us - even though they are not poor, poor by world standards.

Richard Of York Gave Battle In Vain

I have a new car and the letters on the number plate are "BDF" and I am terrible at remebering things like number plates - could someone suggest a phrase that would help me remember the letters......like Never Eat Shredded Wheat.....to remember North East South West.

But the thing is I am a little....well I don't know if it's shame...I'd say embarrased....whenever I have to talk about my faith to people who are surprised I have one I go red and my head pulsates....however, I do the same whenever anyone asks me if I fancy someone - I'm much better at talking about both when I've had a drink - what on earth does that say about me!!??

On another note, I've been thinking about writing but I don't know where to start - I'm not sure poems are my thing as I don't read them - I like songs and love clever lyris but I'm not musical, I love reading novels but am pretty sure I don't have the patience or the imagination to write one of those, but I have remebered that when I was at school I loved writing articles but how would I do that now....

The last 2 paragraphs contained 22, "I's", they must have been written by someone who is feeling quite self-obsessed at the moment.
