Twitching eye lids.....

a very long weekend in 'nham involved seeing quite a few people i've not seen for a long time. I also went out for a great meal to a restaurant called Vanilla My mum also filled me with enough food to keep me going 'til next easter!

My twitching eyelids are not a result of batting them provocativley at blokes but due to emmense tiredness, late nights, an uncomfortable bed and since returning, an adiction to Jamies Schools Dinners.

the emergency exits are here and...well here!

Just in case anyone is wondering I arrived back in Sheffield safe and sound. However my stress levels weren't helped by a secondary leak to spring up in my kitchen! I also had a French oral exam to practice for.

However today life seems a little brighter (hooray) my test went relativley well considering, my leaks are now fixed (i'm just waiting for the next one) and I managed to get to 2 lectures today which makes me feel very self-righteous.

I think i'll pop along to starbucks treat myself to a nice hot cup of cwoiffee and have a stab at the big issue crossword - can life get any better.....? (don't answer that!)

okay now i'm scared...

Adrian has just shown me the seat layout of our return flight plan - its half the size of the one we flew up on....please pray for my nerves they're frayed enough as it is!

Elastic bands and twigs....

Well I'm lucky to be alive quite frankly. Yesterday I flew 350 miles north to Aberdeen in what can only be described as a paper aeroplane. There were a total of 13 on the plane including the pilot, co-pilot and flight attendant. It felt like the thing was powered with elastic bands. Not a jet engine in sight, just propellers, i didnt think they still made aeroplanes with propellers! Putting my abject fear aside and giving credit where credit is due the flight itself was relativley smooth as was the landing - any hoo i have to endure it all again in a couple of hours when i fly home. Think i'm going to do some shopping (spend my expenses and subsistance - aren't you taxpayers glad that your money is being well spent)this lunchtime to help calm my nerves....
